MOD Pizza In Dover Is Closed!

A few readers messaged me indicating MOD Pizza in Dover closed about two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to get it posted. I don't have much information on this one...it seems this was not planned and the closure was abrupt.

Originally opened in 2018, MOD Pizza was sort of like a Subway for pizza. You could pick your custom ingredients and have it baked fresh for you. Before MOD, this was a Noodles & Company, which also didn't last long.

In addition to the Dover location, there was a MOD Pizza up near the University of Delaware. It is now also closed. Now, the closest locations are just beyond the state line in Pennsylvania or in Annapolis, Maryland.

The property, located at 1037 N DuPont Highway is now vacant

The former MOD Pizza in Dover is located in the North Dover Center - a seemingly prime location right in front of Bally's Casino and adjacent to DSU. The center is home to the upcoming BAM! Bookstore.

It shouldn't take long to get a new business in here. We'll keep you posted!
